Hello Hansie Brenkman, Have you downloaded the service pack for U-lead VideoStudio 10 from the Corel website? If not, click. You may need to check and see if this Service pack is only for Windows Vista or for Windows 7 also.
I have seen several posts in this forums and others with the exact same error message and no sound. But I have not found a solution. These are the only two VideoStudio versions that are shown to be compatible with Windows 7. VideoStudio Express 2010 - VideoStudio Pro X3 I suggest you contact Corel for assistance with this error message for VideoStudio 10.
