How to install and uninstall FrontPage extensions in cPanel by VodaHost web hosting. Visit VodaHost to learn how to install and uninstall FrontPage extensions in cPanel. For the purpose of this video, we'll presume that you're currently in your cPanel hosting and therefore are viewing the primary display.
VodaHost will begin to install FrontPage extensions in our account. Scroll down the cPanel hosting screen and select the FrontPage Extensions under the Advanced category of your cPanel hosting screen. Once you have selected FrontPage Extensions a new display will appear the FrontPage Extensions page.
Please note that to install FrontPage extensions, you must use Microsoft's FrontPage to build your website. We shall install the extensions in this account. By viewing the Status column next to the Domain column, you can see that FrontPage extensions are not installed at this time on this account. Select on Install Extensions button under the Functions column to start the procedure to install extensions.
Frontpage Extensions Not Working
We strongly recommend that you do not install FrontPage. Microsoft® discontinued support for FrontPage extensions on Linux servers in 2006.

This will be confirmation that the FrontPage extensions have now been installed and can publish your website using FrontPage to this hosting account.
Let's go back to the FrontPage Extensions page, by selecting Go Back underneath the confirmation notice. The newly installed FrontPage extensions have been installed for the main domain, but not installed for your subdomain. Please note that you would have to be install extensions individually for any subdomains or Add-on domains by just following the above instructions. VodaHost will begin to uninstall the FrontPage extensions, select the Uninstall Extensions button under the Functions column. By doing so you will see Attempting to remove FrontPage extensions screen and at the bottom of the page; FrontPage extensions are currently: not installed. The extensions are no longer installed in this account. You may return to the FrontPage Extensions page to install or uninstall FrontPage extensions at any time.
