On Wednesday, President Trump signed an executive order that opened up a review of 25 national monuments, potentially setting the stage for Secretary of the Interior. Does Longhorn have a new sound scheme? If so, could someone post it please? If not, does anyone know where i can find some sound schemes?

Press Windows key + F, type Sound in search, click settings, select Sound from the list. In the Sound Window, click the Sounds tab. In the Sound Scheme list, click the sound scheme that you want to use, and then click OK. Hope this will be helpful. Incase if you still have further queries please reply us and we will be happy to help you.

Your fix is useless there are still only two sound schemes to chose from. My sound schemes in windows media now have the info in them (IE the correct sound files) that Microsoft SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED WITH WINDOWS 8 BUT CHOSE TO RIP USERS OFF BY NOT SUPPLYING. I had to import them from my WINDOWS 7 laptop (WAY MUCH BETTER AND MORE USER FRIENDLY OPPRATEING SYSTEM THAN THIS PIECE OF WINDOWS 8.!!!!

But still only have two choices to chose from in sound schemes. NOW YOU WILL PROVIDE ME AND OTHER USERS WITH A FIX TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE OR FIND YOURSELVES THE RECIPENTS OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS.YOUR PROMPT AND IMMEDIATE RESPONE IS EXPECTED!!!!!!! DON'T WASTE OUR TIME WITH USLESS FIXES JUST DO THE RIGHT THING AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE N O W!!

Press Windows key + F, type Sound in search, click settings, select Sound from the list. In the Sound Window, click the Sounds tab. In the Sound Scheme list, click the sound scheme that you want to use, and then click OK. Hope this will be helpful. I know we users are very lucky to be using such a sophisticated and complex OS and pardon my ignorance but when I follow the above instructions there are only 'default' sounds. Many other people using vastly inferior versions of windows have a dozen choices for sound schemes, obviously I just can't find these on my own, please assist. I, all of a sudden noticed that the sounds have changed, WHAT THE #.!!, I now have the 'default', 'none', and 'seashore'. Seashore is cool, waves splashing, boat horn, water drops, I like it, but have NO idea where it came from or how to get it. OK, I just looked up 'seashore' and got a listing for the picture set to load into 8, turns out they come with sounds, so right now I have some surfing picture theme set and it plays 'seashore' sounds. Next is to find out if it, the all knowing, totally clever and everything I could have wanted in a OS windows 8, can and will keep this sound scheme in its list of sound even if one dunt use the pic pack. In case you didn't get the hint, I think Win 8 is a selfish, fail at a new better OS, better would have been giving far more choice at what one can do or want from the new system.

Guess that is why you can get this effing thing for $39. $38 too much. I you run a touch screen, $37 too much.

Microsoft usualy waites till much later and feature complete builds before you start seeing the new icons and new sounds. That is also the case with what the OS will acualy look like theme wise. Just because we see picture of a few diferent mockups of Areo that doesn't mean that Windows Longhorn(2005) will look anything like we see now. Just look at what we saw of the early builds of Whistler(Windows XP).

We all drooled for Watercolor. Than they dropped Luna on us. That is how they did it with Memphis(Windows98) and how it was done with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
