Hello Everyone I am making a guide as the title said to change the language of your Origin version of the Dragon Age series to English.

English Text For Intermediate Level

Why this Guide you may ask? Well a lot of us foreigners enjoy the English dubbing way more than the one in our language due to poor translation/mistakes in the tone of voice (people randomly screaming when they should be talking or the other way around), etc. Unfortunately EA has a rather hostile policy towards supporting multiple languages on their Origin games without having to redownload the entire game, most of us do not have the time or maybe the bandwidth to spare for such things, fortunately there are options available for all games to change their languages even if they are hidden. Dragon Age: Origins: Go to C:/Program Files/Origin Games/Dragon Age/binship There you will find a program called 'DAOriginsConfig' open it, on the left panel select the 'Video' icon (don't ask me why it's not in Audio) there will be multiple drop-down menus with the last two being Language and VO Language switch both of these to en-us. Dragon Age: Origins is now in English and the voice actors are actually good! There is a problem, you see this only works for the base game, all the DLCs only have your localized version so that means no text for DLC items, no dialogue voice or facial animation during DLCs, etc.

Go to your Bioware Social Network account and redeem your codes there. Now go to 'my games' 'your registered content' and download each Origins DLC you have and install them with the provided installer. There is a small problem: Dragon Age: Awakening is not there there is no way around this one all the dialogues are already on the files so you won't have silent conversations but all the new abilities will lack any description, I fixed it by getting my old DA:Awakening DvD and getting the english version files on it. (you can also do that with the Xbox DvD if you have it) Dragon Age 2: Go to C:/Program Files/Origin Games/Dragon Age II/binship and open DragonAge2Config there select 'video' on the left panel and change 'language' and 'VO language' to English.

Just as before only the base game content is included if you have any DLC go instal it from after having registered your Dragon Age 2 game on the BSN. Fortunately with Dragon Age 2 All the content is available on the BSN you won't have any problem. Dragon Age: Inquisition: Ah now this get interesting, most of you will say 'but you wan download the 'English Voice Pack' from Origin!'

Wrong you could download the Pack. According to the EA support 'the offer has been cancelled' 4 days after release in Europe so those that didn't jump on the occasion (to save bandwidth or because they wanted to try their mothertongue's version first or just because they just bought the game now) are screwed.

Incorporating the previous titles from the Keep is a great incentive.

I downloaded this game after a long time of not playing it and still think this is one of the best RPGs around. Graphics are still great, characters are also well developed, and its simply fun to play and test builds. I have sunk well over 100 hours into the game and do plan on purchasing the extra DLC to enjoy it further.

Iniquisition is worth your time, and is at a great price often on sale. You won't be disappointed with the RPG titles out there. The main story is great, it has ALMOST everything we've come to expect from a BioWare game: great lore, climactic events, and meaningful characters. However, there are not nearly as many meaningful choices in the game, unlike Origins which had PLENTY. Many choices only add operations on the war table, which give the game a larger sense of scale, but make the choices seem nonessential.

Grinding through huge areas is fun at first, but quickly becomes a chore with the uninteresting side plots. The only reason I kept exploring was to do companion quests and to kill dragons (which are spectacular boss fights). The characters are very strong, with only a couple of weak characters. Romance in this game is pretty disappointing, the relationships were great, but as a heterosexual male player, there only two characters to pursue. Both still good though. Combat is a lot less tactical then Origins, but more action oriented.

Overall, a great improvement to DA2, but not perfect. Still recommend.

This game is amazing. Great scenary, great characters, and a fantastic story. I loved every moment of it and to be honest I wished it did not end but every great story has a memorable ending. The only complaint I have about this game is the lack of armor and weapons. I ran through a good portion of the game with the same set of armor and the same blade. But what kept me going was the great story and its character especially The Iron Bull. This game is a solid 9/10 for me I am currently going on my fourth playthrough:D.

If your're like me, you've been disappointed for years because of the fact that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3, never materialized. Well, DA Inquisition takes a little time to get into, However, I NO LONGER care that KOTOR 3 doesn't exist. Give it time to get the mechanics down and the working's of the game. I promise you that, amongst the characters you encounter and recruit, the story telling, the choices you get, the fights and looting, the leveling system, and the fact that you end up leading an army, who's success is based on how meticulously you prepared for an epic showdown, YOU WILL no longer care about KOTOR. Looking for a phenomal RPG? With a little patience and work, you've found it. This is the first game I've ever played where I felt truly immersed into the action.

English Story

Every big decision feels and IS crucial, the characters all have their own personalities. It's a joy to chat with your followers/friends.

The fighting, while at times can feel like a grind, are very well done and require tactics. Definitely not one to play on casual if you've played other Dragon Age titles, go all out with the difficulty.

Hands down the best game I've ever played. It's definitely earned its spot in my library, and it deserves a spot in yours too. I find new things each time. I still love it.

It needs a better way to import choices to the game. I don't like the DA keep. Character creation is better than previous games, and better than ME creator. It takes some getting used to, because tinkering with facial stucture has a learning curve. It needs to have Trespasser as free or included in base game, because a significant portion of the story is missing without it. Those who have it tend to enjoy the game more, so I wish more people knew the full story. I recommend a Solas romance for those who own Trespasser.

It adds to it significantly. I love the complex companions in this best. I still prefer DA2 combat, and the cool downs seem excessive at times. Dragon slaying is best here.

I still don't play multiplayer, and feel the game would be better served if those resources were dedicated to making the rpg aspects stronger. People don't buy rpg to play multiplayer battles, and if they do there are better ones.
